Design & Brand Lead

Term Time & Fixed Term 1 Year

25 hours a week

25 hours per week with the opportunity to increase for the right candidate

Matravers prides itself on the quality and clarity of printed and online publications it provides for its community and is now looking to build on this reputation through a refresh of a number of relevant aspects. You will initially be working closely with the Headteacher and seeing these design ideas through to completion. Moving forward we expect the candidate to use their knowledge and skill to proactively look for areas for further improvement across our school.

The ideal candidate will have a range of skills including:

  • The Design skills to produce materials;
  • Experience of Branding;
  • Ability to work under own initiative;
  • Have experience in communicating effectively with a range of audiences;
  • High levels of creativity to produce materials;
  • A high level of English and attention to detail;
  • Proof-reading skills;
  • Are willing and able to attend and organise offsite events for promotions outside of the school day.

We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our superb catering team working 15 hours a week 39 weeks a year.

Salary:

£15,014 pro rata - £7.78 p.h.

Contract:

Term Time and Permanent, 39 Weeks a year

(44.65 paid weeks including holidays)

  • Knowledge and experience of basic food preparation;

Reprographics Technician

 Term Time & Fixed Term 1 Year

 10 hours a week

Enthusiastic technician with excellent communication skills required to join our team.

These are exciting times for Matravers with a combination of rapidly improving results, growing student applications and significant investment being made into the school. We are looking for a colleague to contribute to this through delivering exceptional customer service and support to our teachers and students.

 

As a Reprographics technician you will be responsible for the printing of worksheets and booklets which our staff use on a daily basis. The School operates a print room with two Xerox booklet making machines.

 

The expected hours will be 9:00 to 11:00 daily but there is scope to adjust these if necessary. In addition the successful candidate would be required to demonstrate:

 

  • Good inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work to High standards and meet deadlines
  • Work well under pressure
  • Looking for solutions

 

Experience of using photocopiers to produce booklets would be useful but training can be provided

Cover Supervisor

     Term Time & Fixed Term 1 Year

Enthusiastic Cover Supervisor with excellent communication skills required to join our team.

The successful candidate will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of staff. You will be required to deliver set work, supervise and manage the behaviour of classes in line with the school policy.

This is an exciting role with plenty of development opportunities. The position would suit a candidate with relevant experience or a graduate considering a career in teaching. There may be the opportunity for work-based training leading to a recognised teaching qualification for the right candidate.

The role will be worked over 30 hours per week 39 weeks a year This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will need to undertake a DBS check.

Has recent and relevant experience of working in a School environment with students in a professional capacity

  • Has levels of integrity and professionalism

Salary:

Grade B  £7.83 per hour
