Matravers School is an 11-18 Performing Arts School. We are on our way to being over-subscribed in the coming years. We are also a National Teaching School Strategic Partner and we are looking for colleagues who share our passion, drive and commitment to secure 'outstanding' at our next Ofsted.

Inclusion Learning Assistant

 Required: Immediately

We are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic colleague to join us in our Inclusion Team. We work to support the learning of students with a range of additional needs to ensure that they achieve their potential. Our focus is on removing barriers to learning so that every student is able to experience success. You will be an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This post would be ideally suited to candidates considering wanting to gain experience of the teaching profession and educational environments.

Cover Supervisor

   Term Time & Fixed Term

 

Enthusiastic Cover Supervisor with excellent communication skills required to join our team.

School:

Start Date:

Salary:

£18,746 (pro rata)   Grade F

Contract:

Term Time and Fixed Term Contract: 31 August 2018

The successful candidate will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of staff. You will be required to deliver set work, supervise and manage the behaviour of classes in line with the school policy. This is an exciting role with plenty of development opportunities. The position would suit a candidate with relevant experience or a graduate considering a career in teaching. There may be the opportunity for work-based training leading to a recognised teaching qualification for the right candidate. The role will be worked over 30 hours per week 39 weeks a year This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will need to undertake a DBS check.

 Examination Invigilator/ Reader/Scribe

£7.83 per hour

Grade B

The successful candidate is likely to be a person who:

Has recent and relevant experience of working in a School environment with students in a professional capacity

  • Is able to follow processes and procedures accurately
  • Has a good level of English and is able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Has levels of integrity and professionalism

Start date:

During school exam time at different times of year

Salary:

Grade B  £7.83 per hour
