Golden Nuggets

Our ‘nuggets’ inform you of the key skills and knowledge that we believe a pupil must be secure in from our teaching across their subjects.

These nuggets form the core of any assessment activities that take place.

As a parent you can support your daughter/son by:

Asking them to discuss their learning in their subjects – ask them questions linked to these ‘Golden Nuggets’.
Asking your daughter/son to show you their book and the work they have completed linked to the nuggets. Ask them to show you a piece of work they are particularly proud of this term and ask them about it.
Supporting your daughter/son through revision activities based on these nuggets is vital – this supports their ability to ‘know more and remember more’. Please find the link to parental support with revision strategies here:
