Pastoral Guidance

Pupils are placed in mixed ability tutor groups and, where possible, remain with their tutor through Years 7 to 11. Pupils are restructured as they move into the Sixth Form with a dedicated Sixth Form guidance team.

The Pastoral Team consists of a Progress Leader and a Pastoral Manager who are responsible for overseeing the welfare, development and achievement of the pupils in their care. A Senior Manager is attached to each key stage to oversee pupil development and progression.

Assemblies are held weekly based on our "Thought for the Week" programme.

We encourage a competitive approach in all tutor and year group activities with each year viewed as a mini-school with an identity of its own.
